I also loved James Howe's Bunnicula and the sequel, The Celery Stalks at Midnight.Sarah Stevensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16534942492714970282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7893796119628724760.post-75251402627241466532016-12-09T09:20:22.319-08:002016-12-09T09:20:22.319-08:00I didn't read a lot of scary stories, but War ...I didn't read a lot of scary stories, but War of the Worlds, by H.G. Wells, was very good. I should probably read it again. Oh wait, Edgar Allen Poe! "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Cask of Amontillado," actually all the Poe short stories I read were great. And wait! My sister had a collection of short stories by Saki. I loved those too.gonovicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11731194400029298160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7893796119628724760.post-78532902671000931092016-10-31T06:30:27.621-07:002016-10-31T06:30:27.621-07:00Aaah!
